NORTHEASTERN LittleHawks

(Cheerleading and Tumbling Squad)
Would you like to be a star at Northeastern State University? This group will learn basic cheer and tumbling form and techniques while learning a series of routines. Our LittleHawks will perform at a NSU home football game. NO competitions. NO expensive uniforms.

Session 1
Date: Thursdays, Jan. 8 – Feb. 26
Time: 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Location: NSU Tahlequah Campus- Jack Dobbins Field House - North Gym
Instructor: Allison Sweptson
Fee: $80 (space is limited)
*Performance at last evening NSU home Basketball game Thurs., Feb. 26

Session 2
Date: Thursdays, Mar. 4 – Apr. 30 (no performance in this session)
Time: 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Location: NSU Tahlequah Campus- Jack Dobbins Field House - North Gym
Instructor: Allison Sweptson
Fee: $80 (space is limited)

Miss Red Fern Pageant

The mission of the Red Fern pageant is to showcase the striking personality, natural charm, and extraordinary character of the amazing youth in Cherokee County. This pageant is considered a natural beauty pageant. Simplicity and charisma are the most important factors for contestants. We want every girl to have a Fun and Ferntastic Experience!

Pageant entry fee is $25 per contestant.

There are three age categories:

  • Little Miss Red Fern: 5 to 8 years old 
  • Junior Miss Red Fern: 9 to 13 years old 
  • Miss Red Fern: 14 to 17 years old.

All participants must be currently live in Cherokee County. The pageant will be held on Saturday of the Annual Red Fern Festival, April 25, 2015 between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m.
