It is recommended that graduate students refer to the Graduate Checklist to assure completion of their graduate program in a timely fashion. Credit will be applied toward a program only for work begun and completed within six years prior to the granting of the degree, exclusive of any time spent in the armed services of the United States.
Students should schedule regular appointments with their advisor to review their progress and to ensure required paperwork and deadlines are being met.
Early consideration to thesis deadlines and selection of the thesis committee should be discussed with your advisor. Completed thesis should be submitted to the Graduate College by November 1 for fall, April 1 for spring, and July 1 for summer graduates.
You may view your DARS report at anytime to see your progress in achieving your degree.
Application for Graduation and fee should be submitted by May 1 for fall graduates; October 1 for spring, and March 1 for summer graduates.
