If you haven’t heard of Junior Brown you better “guit” with it! Brown’s signature instrument is the “guit-steel” double neck guitar, a hybrid of electric guitar and lap steel guitar allowing him to switch mid-song between the two while singing. His musical career started in the 1960 playing with groups like Asleep at the Wheel. Along the way he has garnered three Grammy nods and won CMT’s Video of the Year in 1996. Brown’s music has been showcased on TV shows and movie soundtracks including Me, Myself, and Irene and the Dukes of Hazzard, which he also narrated. He has worked with a variety of music greats including the Beach Boys, George Jones and Bob Dylan.
