The faculty of CTL are happy to provide training on anything related to enhancing student learning at NSU. Specifically, we can provide training on general pedagogy issues, assessment and research, teaching online, Quality Matters, Blackboard, and using other academic technologies including Microsoft products, Google Apps, etc. For descriptions of the various workshops, click on the category links to the left.
Keep in mind that these lists are not exhaustive. If you have ideas for other workshops that you would like CTL to host, please let us know. Also, if you have expertise in a teaching and learning topic that you'd like to present to NSU faculty and/or staff, please feel free to contact us. We would be more than happy to help make this happen.
While CTL will periodically schedule workshops open to everyone (see calendar below), requests can be made for a workshop specifically prepared for your department or college. To schedule a workshop for your department or college, please contact Stacy Thompson (firstname.lastname@example.org or x5855).
To see a description of the workshop and more details about its location, please click on the workshop you are interested in.
Registration is required for all workshops so that we can get a head count ahead of time. To register, please see the CTL Workshops Registration page. Thank you!
