Health & Kinesiology Club
Mission
- Promote college, community, and state programs of health, physical education, recreation
and dance
- Coordinate and integrate the professional interest of members of the Department of
Health and Kinesiology
- Create an active interest in the Health and Kinesiology profession
- Foster among students a better understanding of the role of the Health, Human Performance,
or Physical Education Specialist
- Supply current information in trends of Health, Human Performance, and Physical Education
- H&K Club members are offered professional growth opportunities through various activities
and guest speakers. Activities such as state and national conferences are attended
by members. H&K Club hosts various events, including health fairs and Jump Rope for
Heart (American Heart Association).
