Earth Space Science - Bachelor of Science Education in Science Education

 
 

The Earth Space Science option prepares majors to teach middle school science (grades 7-8) and high school Physical Science, Earth Science, and Geoscience courses. Certification requires Teacher Candidates to pass certification tests that assess science content knowledge and content-related pedagogy. TEACH Grant funds are available for qualified students.

Professional Licensure Disclosure

Programs at Northeastern State University that prepare students for licensure in mathematics or science are designed to meet the licensure standards set by the Oklahoma State Department of Education. Northeastern State University cannot confirm whether a particular licensure program meets requirements for licensure outside of the State of Oklahoma. Students seeking licensure in another state are advised to contact the appropriate licensing board in that state to determine specific requirements of guidelines for reciprocity.
