Award Period: Fall 2013-Fall 2018
Availability for eight NSU Bachelor of Social Work students per year with the focus on building a diverse workforce, particularly Native Americans, to assist in addressing workforce and child placement disproportionality in child welfare.
. Students must have 60 undergraduate coursework hours completed.
. Student must have an overall cumulative G.P.A. of 2.5.
. Student may be enrolled in full-time or part-time social work studies.
* Fall Semester $4,200.00 (F/T Enrollment).
* Spring Semester $4,200.00 (F/T Enrollment).
* Summer Semester $2,419.00 (F/T Enrollment).
* Annual Travel Allowance $1,125.00 (F/T Enrollment).
Total Maximum Annual Stipend Award: $11,944.00
*Stipend is prorated for less than F/T enrollment.
For Summer Semester: May 9
For Fall Semester: July 18
For Spring Semester: November 14
*Entry is competitive and applications are available on the NSU Social Work Website and at the Tahlequah and Broken Arrow Social Work offices.
