This year’s keynote will be Jonathan Lashley and will address Open Educational Resources. Jonathan's work finds him regularly advocating for the use of open educational resources (OER) in higher education. He coordinates an interinstitutional community of practice around OER for university/college staff in Idaho, is currently a Designing with OER (DOER) Fellowship for his work as an instructional designer, was an OER Research Fellow with the Open Education Group, and recently co-edited an open-access handbook about OER for academic librarians. His professional interests focus on Open Educational Resources, media-rich communication, research-based design, and meaningful learning experiences.
