“We do not learn from experience... we learn from reflecting on experience.”
― John Dewey
As part of its mission to foster a culture of excellence in teaching and learning, the Center for Teaching & Learning is offering funding to faculty for support of immersive/experiential learning course activities. Funds will be used to help faculty to enhance a course addressing appropriate components that students would otherwise be unable to complete.
Proposals for funding of up to $1000 are being accepted from faculty to support immersive/experiential learning projects within courses at Northeastern State University on a rolling basis. Proposals will be reviewed and awards will be made at least monthly or until funds run out by members of the CTL Advisory Committee until 5:00 pm on April 2, 2018. Faculty who receive funding through this program will be required to submit a final report summarizing the project and results that the Center for Teaching & Learning may include in its annual report and may share on its website.
If you have any questions regarding these funding opportunities, please contact the Center for Teaching and Learning (918-444-5855 or firstname.lastname@example.org).
