American Sign Language Studies Minor

The American Sign Language Studies Minor is a complement to any major degree whether you are interested in working in the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Community directly or have an interest in making your own field or community more accessible to the approximate 13% of Americans who are Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing.1

The foundation of the program is both language and culture based and is presented by means of a total immersion approach. Students are introduced to the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing community and are encouraged to become active participants.
