NSU is committed to assisting students in applying and earning scholarships. Whether you are an incoming freshman or a continuing/returning student, NSU has a wide variety of scholarship options for students to choose from.

Clubs and Organizations

From networking to leadership opportunities, NSU’s over 80 clubs and organizations allow our students to build lasting relationships while getting the full college experience.

Transfer Students

Whether you’re an incoming or current transfer student, NSU’s transfer advisors are available to assist you with transcript evaluation, information on degree programs and support services. NSU is where You Belong.

Graduate College

Whether transitioning to graduate school or returning to higher education, NSU’s graduate college is your next step. Choose from over 25 master's degrees and several certificate programs.

Geography & Sustainability Studies

  • Richard B. Bullock Scholarship
    Awarded to full-time senior-to-be majoring in geography who has the greatest potential in a geographic endeavor after graduation.
    Awarded annually.
  • Geography program fund
    Funds go toward immersive learning activities, field trips, and GIS Day Student Map contests.

Political Science

Students will need to fill out the General Scholarship Application each year in order to be on the list of eligible students that we send to the College of Liberal Arts to select from. The application will open around the third week in December and close March 1st. Once the link is available students can find it here at the Continuing/Returning Student Scholarship page. Also, an email will be sent from the Scholarship Office to all students when the general scholarship application opens and when the application in the spring open up for the Jeremy West Scholarship.

  • Dr. Brian Rader Memorial Scholarship
    Awarded to full-time Political Science majors with at least 12 hours completed within the major.
    GPA: 3.0
  • Jeremy D. West Memorial Scholarship
    Awarded to full-time Political Science majors with demonstrable financial need that are not related to the donor. The student must submit an essay of no more than two pages explaining their passion for political science, the legal system, democracy, or other political or governmental institutions or processes.
    GPA: 3.0 Advertised around Spring Break
