Graphic Novels

A graphic novel is a narrative work in which the story is conveyed to the reader using sequential art, either in an experimental design or in a traditional comic strip format and presented as a book. Graphic novels encompass a wide range of themes and create multi-layered experiences through word and art. Some educators contend that the format offers greater opportunities to teach as well as to entertain, especially for students who possess a wider visual vocabulary.
