M.Ed. Mathematics EducationStudents who complete the M. Ed. in Mathematics Education go on to teach part time or full time in a college setting, serve as mathematics instructional leaders in school districts, continue as exemplary models for teaching in their K-12 classrooms, pursue a doctorate degree in mathematics education and much more.

As a prerequisite for program admission, candidates must hold or be eligible to hold a standard teaching certificate or teaching license or be eligible for an alternative certification program with a plan of study for certification on file with NSU’s Office of Teacher Certification and the Graduate College. Courses included do not represent all courses needed for a Mathematics teaching certificate for the State of Oklahoma.
