Breaking Driver's License Codes

Thanks to funds obtained from a President's Ambassadors Network grant, we are pleased to be having Dr. Joseph A. Gallian from Univ. of Minnesota Duluth coming to NSU and presenting two stunning lectures. Dr. Gallian is a noted textbook author, REU organizer, former president of the Mathematical Association of America and world-class speaker.

The first of Dr. Gallian's lectures will be at 10am in SCLL62, entitled "The Mathematics of Identification Numbers". The talk will require no advanced mathematics, but if you wish to attend then please plan on arriving early as seating is limited.

Dr. Gallian's main presentation will be "Breaking Driver's License Codes" and will be delivered at 2pm in the Webb Center Auditorium. This is intended as an all-campus lecture; everyone is invited to attend. No advanced mathematics knowledge is required. Plan to attend and hear one of the best lectures of your life!
