This is an outline of courses to assist pre-allied health students with planning science sequences. Salient points to note:

  • This plan sequence ensures that the student has completed most of their pre-requisites before the spring of their sophomore year so the student is adequately prepared to take their professional exam.
  • This plan includes at least two sciences per semester. Students who choose lighter loads may not be as competitive for their professional program.
  • Courses are arranged to accommodate prerequisites. Be sure to read course descriptions in the University Catalog. Some of the courses listed may require additional prerequisites not listed above.
  • Other courses are likely required for admission to your health program. It is your responsibility to check with the program you would like to attend to ensure that you meet all of the admission requirements.
  • This plan may not include degree requirements for your major. Refer to Undergraduate Programs and Requirements for specific degree information.

Consultation with Pre-Health Advisor is essential.
