Department of Psychology and Counseling
The Psychology and Counseling Department at NSU is housed in the College of Education and is comprised of several degree options that prepare students for a variety of rewarding careers.
An education in psychology and/or counseling prepares students to pursue careers in both liberal arts and scientific fields, depending on personal interests. Common career paths for individuals who complete an education in psychology include careers in public and private healthcare, education, mental health support, social work, therapy, and counseling.
