WHAT WE DO

As a part of Northeastern State University's Sequoyah Institute, the Performing Arts Series fosters cultural enrichment beyond the classroom and promotes the experience and understanding of the fine arts through the presentation of national and international performing artists to our students and the community. It is not only entertainment, educational outreach events accompany each of our series performances. Beyond the Stage events offer educational workshops, master classes, and lectures. Learning LIVE! events offer daytime performances to area schools in order to provide arts & cultural experiences outside of the classroom. The Sequoyah Institute Performing Arts Series is a vital part of the educational experience offered at NSU.
