The Performing Arts Series is now presented at the 174 seat NSU Playhouse located on the corner of Muskogee Avenue and Downing Street, in the heart of downtown Tahlequah.
Parking
Public parking is available along Muskogee Ave. and in the lots between Lift Coffee Bar and the NSU Jazz Lab as well as beside the NSU Art Gallery on the west sides of the street. There is no designated parking for the Playhouse. Many patrons also utilize the parking available on the edge of Norris Park along Morgan street or the University lot at the edge of campus on Goingsnake street.
Driving Directions
Directions from Muskogee
Follow US-62 E/Muskogee Avenue into Tahlequah. The NSU Playhouse is located on the corner of Muskogee Avenue and Downing Street.
Directions from Locust Grove
Take OK-82 SE into Tahlequah. Turn right onto North Grand Avenue into downtown, pass through the NSU campus. The NSU Playhouse will be on your left at the second stoplight after you leave campus, at the intersection of Downing Street.
Directions from Keys/Tenkiller Lake
Take OK-82 N to US-62 junction and then turn right. Follow US-62 E/Muskogee Avenue into Tahlequah, continuing through downtown. At the intersection of Downing Street you will see the Playhouse on the right side of the road.
Directions from Wagoner
Take OK-51 E into Tahlequah which turns into West Choctaw Street. Follow Choctaw Street into town and then turn left onto US-62 E/Muskogee Avenue. Continue on Muskogee Avenue through downtown At the intersection of Downing Street you will see the Playhouse on the right side of the road.
