Phi Alpha Honor Society
The purpose of the Phi Alpha Honor Society is to provide a closer bond among students of social work and promote humanitarian goals and ideals. Phi Alpha fosters high standards of education for social workers and invites into membership, those who have attained excellence in scholarship and achievement in social work.
NSU became the Delta Eta Chapter of Phi Alpha in May 1993. Chapter meetings and initiations are held in fall for the Tahlequah campus, and spring for Broken Arrow.
Requirements:
- Social Work Major
- GPA 3.25 overall
- GPA 3.40 in Social Work courses
- Active member of NASSW (Social Work Club)
Application Deadline:
FALL - The first Friday in November
SPRING - The first Friday in April
