Center for Teaching and Learning Awards

OFD Awards

We do not learn from experience... we learn from reflecting on experience.
John Dewey

As part of its mission to foster a culture of excellence in teaching and learning, NSU Online is offering awards to faculty for the support of Open Educational Resources, Immersive Learning, and Technology Innovations in Learning and Teaching course activities. Awards will be used to help faculty to enhance a course addressing appropriate components that students would otherwise be unable to complete.

Overview

Proposals for awards of up to $1000 are being accepted from faculty and awarded on a rolling basis to support these initiatives within with in courses at Northeastern State University. Awards will be made at least monthly or until funds run out. Faculty who receive an award through this program will be required to submit a final report summarizing the project and results may be included in an annual report and may share on the NSU website. Proposals may be submitted through the OFD Awards form. The link appears in the documents below as well. We use Google forms which may require you to sign into non-Chrome browsers (i.e. Firefox) with your NSU credentials before the forms will open.

If you have any questions regarding these award opportunities, please contact the NSU Online (918.444.5855 or online@nsuok.edu).
