Feedback Fruits and Echo 360 Information
Increase your student interaction by joining our new pilot program with FeedbackFruits!
We are thrilled to introduce our new pilot program with FeedbackFruits, an all-in-one tool suite that helps create engaging learning activities for your face-to-face, online, and hybrid courses.
The FeedbackFruits Blackboard Integrated tool suite includes 15 tools. The pilot focuses on the tools to stimulate collaborative learning and student discussion. These tools will enable you to create varied and robust classroom interactions and assessments to increase student engagement and retention (e.g., by creating an interactive video or letting students discuss a topic).
As part of the pilot, over the coming days and weeks, we will have a more focused demonstration of the different tools that Feedback Fruits offers, all currently available to you.
The pilot will run through December 2023, allowing you to use the tools in your Summer and Fall courses. Your involvement with the pilot can be as quick or as in-depth as you desire. You will never be alone as we partner with you to help develop one or more interactive assessments; we will be with you every step of the way. If you want to sign up for the pilot or like more information to help make that decision, please sign up using our Feedback Fruit pilot sign-up form.
Here are some benefits you will enjoy by using the FeedbackFruits tool suite:
- Easy ways to comply with Federal Regular and Substantive Interaction (RSI) and HLC requirements: RSI regulations and HLC standards require instructors to create opportunities for strong student-to-student and instructor-to-student interactions and to assess students' higher order skills and learning. Here is more information on how FeedbackFruits can support you with RSI and HLC standards.
- Time-saving: FeedbackFruits simplifies the process of setting up new activities. You can create your own activity or use a pre-built template and copy and reuse activities later. It also supports automated grading and automated feedback on students' work.
- Intuitive: All learning activities have the same user-friendly interface, making them easy to navigate and showing students how they progress through an assignment. They have a modern look and feel, which students will recognize from their other online interactions, supporting discussion threads, voice memos, and videos.
- All-in-one solution: FeedbackFruits is directly integrated with Blackboard, which allows you to use your groups and feed grades into the grade book. It also automatically synchronizes deadlines to the calendar.
- Increase student engagement and retention: Tools include interactive audio, interactive video, annotating, being able to respond with audio, video, writing, links, photos, etc., and more.
