Cybersecurity Summit
Attendees at this one day conference will have the opportunity to learn ways to prevent attacks as well as how to respond to a breach in the event that one occurs at their small business. Guests will also hear from a panel of local bankers the importance of protecting your banking activities from cyber attacks.
Speakers
Dr. Stacey White
Dr. Stacey White was raised in Bixby before joining the U.S. Marine Corps. Three of his six years in the Marines would be spent as an instructor at MCCDC, Quantico, where he taught future leaders of the US Navy, foreign leaders, and some federal law enforcement personnel. After the Marines Dr. White joined the Bixby Police Department in 1991. A career of thirty-one years in law enforcement, would provide a wealth of learning experiences. During his college years, Dr. White earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice, a Master of Science degree in Leadership and Executive Management, as well as a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice. Dr. White's academic pursuits of Dr. White include basic and intermediate digital forensics, OSINT (open source intelligence gathering), and Certified Cyber Intelligence Professional certification. In addition to cyberstalking investigations, Furthermore, Dr. White pursued continuing education in computer sciences, network security, controlled access systems, alarm systems, closed-circuit security video systems, and many other areas. Dr. White is now the Coordinator of Northeastern State University's Cybersecurity Program.
Paul Gault

A proud father of three adult children and a doting "uncle" to his beloved Lilly B., Paul's greatest joy comes from sharing his hard-won wisdom and inspiring others to reach new heights.

Sarah Plumb-Morrison
Sarah Plumb-Morrison has worked at the Local Bank for 18 years, starting part time as a CSR and worked in multiple departments until 2013, when she started in the IT Department. She has been in her current role for going on 11 years. As Chief Technology Officer she manages the current IT and information security department and works alongside vendors to keep Local Bank secure and efficient. Sarah is a member of the local Beta Sigma Phi – Delta Kappa organization and loves to volunteer in the community. Sarah attended the University of Arkansas and has graduated from the Graduate School of Banking “Banking IT Management” course. She lives in Tahlequah with her husband, Michael, two kids, Conrad and Rowan, and three dogs, Lola, Odin, and Clover
Joe Edwards
Joe Edwards is a seasoned professional in the banking industry, bringing over 25 years of extensive experience to his role as Regional Treasury Officer at BancFirst. Throughout his illustrious career, Joe has honed his expertise in various sectors, including corporate banking, credit unions, and mortgage lending. His deep understanding of financial instruments and treasury management has enabled him to provide exceptional service to clients, ensuring that their financial needs are met with precision and care.
Jerry Bennett
Jerry has been with Arvest Bank for four years. All of his time has been in Treasury Management where he is a payables and receivables consultant for emerging commercial clients. Prior to Arvest, Jerry was a business sales advisor with U. S. Cellular. Jerry is a proud veteran of the U. S. Coast Guard and currently lives in Broken Arrow, OK with his wife and their two dogs.
Shawna Welch
Shawna Welch, Branch Operations Manager-Shawna manages the deposit operations at Armstrong Bank and assists customers with Treasury Products. She assists clients with fraudulent transactions and has the knowledge and expertise of being able to identify fraud as they occur and can offer solutions to assist clients to reduce fraud.
Taylor Scraper
Taylor Scraper is a Personal Banker that assists with the account process and also assists clients with fraud. Scrapper is from Tahlequah Oklahoma and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Communication with a minor in Business from NSU in December of 2023. He has been with Armstrong for six and a half years. He is a Rotarian and currently serving on the board as the Next Generations/ Youth chair. He also have been previously involved with the Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors in Tahlequah.
