Conference Description

Attendees at this one day conference will have the opportunity to learn about the use of cybersecurity measures and AI in small business settings. Topics covered will include: AI technical foundation, how to prevent hacking, ethical hacking, and use of AI in your business. The conference will also include a panel discussion on recovering from a serious security breach with panelists from organizations who have gone through one. 

Keynote Speaker - Michael Dellinger

Michael Dellinger has over 30 years of experience in effective Software and Information Technology Management.  He currently serves as the Chief Information Officer for the City of Tulsa.  As CIO, his team has transformed the City’s IT department to provide cost-effective and highly efficient technology services to ensure that they are delivering value for all City departments and citizens.  This transformation led to the complete modernization of all software systems and infrastructure in the City.  In 2021, the City experienced a ransomware incident.  Mr. Dellinger led the successful rebuild of the City’s network and the complete restoration of over 400 software systems used by City departments and citizens.  His team completed the rebuild and restoration within 90 days restoring the City operations to serve their citizens.

Presenters

Zack Eikenberry

Zack is CoFounder and CEO of Hook Security.  Since graduating from Purdue University, he has successfully launched three successful technology companies.  He has been recognized a s Top Ten most Innovative Educator by the Woodrow Wilson Foundation, a TEDx speaker on the nature of innovation.  Hook Security is recognized as a leader in the growing Security Awareness Training space as his team works to establish a new filed of Psychological Security while creating humorous training experiences for professionals all over the world.

Tom Payne

Tom has been active in the IT industry for 20 years.  Tom's experience includes working in a high-security environment for the Department of Defense,  IT consulting with small businesses nationwide, robotics and developing many of the first educational courses on Artificial Intelligence in the past two years.

George Pauwels

George is an IT professional with 15 years of training experience and specializations in Networking, Information Security, and Penetration Testing/Ethical Hacking. As a security instructor, George has recently completed a major training project at Fort Sill. Additionally, he is a certified Cisco instructor in CCNA Routing and Switching, as well as a CCNP in Security.

Jose Portilla

Jose has a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Santa Clara University and has years of experience as a professional instructor and trainer for Data Science and Machine Learning.  Over the course of his career he has developed a skill set in analyzing data and he hopes to use his experience in teaching and data science to help other people learn the power of programming, the ability to analyze data, and the skills needed to present the data in clear and beautiful visualizations.

Dr. Rene Moquin

Dr. Moquin has worked in manufacturing and software organizations. His practical experience covers cybersecurity, programming, application development, systems analysis and design, special projects, networking, project management, budgeting, and team building. Dr. Moquin is an IT behavioral scientist focusing on systems, networking, and cybersecurity. He has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in Information systems and cybersecurity.

Dr. Richard Reif

Richard Reif has a few decades of technology leadership experience in both private and public sector organizations.  He has led and/or participated in many large information technology projects, including ERP conversations, talent management systems, data center conversations, edge replacement and many others.

Dr. Reif holds a Doctorate from Oklahoma State University. As NSU’s chief information officer, Dr. Reif leads a 36-person team of IT professionals and a 22-person student technologist team. He coordinates with numerous NSU departments to meet the technology needs of students and employees. He has served as a principal investigator on a National Science Foundation Cyberinfrastructure grant and the Connecting Minority Communities grant.

Dr. Stacey White

Dr. Stacey White was raised in Bixby before joining the U.S. Marine Corps. Three of his six years in the Marines would be spent as an instructor at MCCDC, Quantico, where he taught future leaders of the US Navy, foreign leaders, and some federal law enforcement personnel. After the Marines Dr. White joined the Bixby Police Department in 1991. A career of thirty-one years  in law enforcement, would provide a wealth of learning experiences. During his college years, Dr. White earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice, a Master of Science degree in Leadership and Executive Management, as well as a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice. Dr. White's academic pursuits of Dr. White include basic and intermediate digital forensics, OSINT (open source intelligence gathering), and Certified Cyber Intelligence Professional certification. In addition to cyberstalking investigations,  Furthermore, Dr. White pursued continuing education in computer sciences, network security, controlled access systems, alarm systems, closed-circuit security video systems, and many other areas. Dr. White is now the Coordinator of Northeastern State University's Cybersecurity Program. 

Shannon T. Clark

Shannon T. Clark serves as Executive Director (Chief Executive Officer) & Chief of Law Enforcement for the Okmulgee County Criminal Justice Authority. He has a combined 30+ years of experience in law enforcement and law enforcement administration. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership & Management and minored with an Associate of Applied Science in Law Enforcement. 

He is a graduate of the Institute for Law Enforcement Administration and Center for American and International Law 86th School of Police Supervision, the United States Department of Homeland Security Immigration and Customs Enforcement 287(g) National Academy, the Federal Bureau of Investigations LEEDA Executive Leadership program, The Oklahoma Sheriff’s Academy, the Oklahoma Police Chief’s Academy and holds an Advanced Law Enforcement Certification from CLEET. He has also served on numerous local, state, and national boards, committees, and non-profit advisory groups.
