Early Childhood OSAT Prep Course
Course Description
Early Childhood Education undergraduate students and teachers seeking Alternative Certification will review the Early Childhood competencies addressed on the Early Childhood OSAT including: Child Development, Learning, and the Learning Environment; Communication, Language, and Literacy Development; Learning Across the Curriculum; Professional Knowledge and Responsibilities; and the Constructed Response. In addition, participants will learn about test taking strategies and practice writing a constructed response with feedback from the instructor.
In the Early Childhood Oklahoma Subject Area Test (OSAT) Prep Course you will have opportunity to review standards covered in each of the five content areas on the test:
- Child Development, Learning, and the Learning Environment;
- Communication, Language, and Literacy Development;
- Learning Across the Curriculum;
- Professional Knowledge and Responsibilities;
- Analysis of Communication, Language, and Literacy Development (Constructed Response).
In addition, you will learn about a variety of test taking strategies.
