NRA Basic Rifle

Basic Rifle

Course description
An 8-hour/2-day introductory rifle shooting course based on the NRA Basic Rifle Shooting curriculum. Classes limited to 4 students to optimize learning and safety. No experience necessary. NRA textbook included; free loaner rifle available, ammo provided at cost. Must be legally allowed to possess a rifle. Contact us for more information.

Instructor
Dr. Salmon is a certified firearms instructor (Oklahoma CLEET, NRA), retired NSU professor, US Army veteran and he trains with the International Defensive Pistol Association. More on the Oakley DefenseFacebook or YouTube web sites.

Class schedule
Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.: Six classroom hours reviewing safety and shooting fundamentals

Sunday 2 to 5:30 p.m. :  2-3 hour outdoor practice session

Location
Saturday: Hillside Church, 900 S Campbell Rd, Tahlequah.

Sunday p.m.: Private outdoor range.
