Clubs and Organizations

From networking to leadership opportunities, NSU’s over 80 clubs and organizations allow our students to build lasting relationships while getting the full college experience.

Whether you’re an incoming or current transfer student, NSU’s transfer advisors are available to assist you with transcript evaluation, information on degree programs and support services. NSU is where You Belong.

Graduate College

Whether transitioning to graduate school or returning to higher education, NSU’s graduate college is your next step. Choose from over 25 master's degrees and several certificate programs.

NRA BASIC RELOADING FOR PISTOL & RIFLE

A two-day course that teaches how to make your own rifle and pistol ammunition based on the NRA Basic Metallic Cartridge Reloading course. Classroom instruction with hand-on exercises in which you make your own 9mm pistol and 5.56 rifle cartridges. Maximum 3 students per class. No experience necessary; all supplies and equipment provided; includes NRA textbook. Must be 18 and can
legally possess a firearm. Lifetime follow-on support. Former students can return and audit this course for free. For more information, email the instructor, Dr. Salmon.

Class schedule:

Saturday 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, or by arrangement: Six hours of classroom instruction; written exam.

The Instructor:

Retired NSU professor, Dr. Salmon, is an NRA- and CLEET-certified firearms instructor who has reloaded over 40,000 pistol and rifle cartridges. He provides high quality creative instruction in a professional and friendly manner that optimizes each student’s learning experience.

Third weekend each month or by arrangement. Typical schedule:
• Day 1: Saturday, 8:30-5:30, Hillside Church in Tahlequah
• Day 2: Sunday, 2:00-5:00 PM, same location
