Pistol II

Course Description

Follow-on course to Pistol 1, or for anyone with an Oklahoma handgun license and who wants to practice locally with an NRA certified instructor/safety officer (one hour of personal training).

We’ll review basic firearms safety, fundamentals of pistol shooting and practice basic drills appropriate to the student’s level. Limited to individuals or small groups. Free loaner guns available—perfect for those who don’t own a gun or who want to try options before buying one.

Course fee: $25. Ammo available at cost (20¢/round for 22 caliber, 50¢/round for 9mm).

Prerequisites: Pistol 1 or Oklahoma handgun license or equivalent training. Eligible to possess a handgun; age ≥ 21; must not be a user of medical marijuana or intoxicating substances.

When? Call to schedule session 918-444-4610. May be rescheduled due to weather.

Instructor: Thomas O. Salmon: Retired NSU professor, NRA certified instructor for basic pistol, rifle, reloading, NRA range safety officer, CLEET certified handgun license instructor.
