Instructor:
Karen Ignatius currently tutors the ACT and SAT both privately and for the Huntington Learning Center-Broken Arrow. She began tutoring the ACT in 1983 and writing ACT verbal exams in 1990 and still makes annual trips to write questions for the ACT. She also tutors adults in test-taking techniques for exams needed for certifications, as well as the OGET, OSAT, and OPTE teacher certification exams.

Broken Arrow Map and Directions
Day: Typically Saturdays, two weeks prior to the National ACT exam date
Time: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Fee: $85.00 USD includes a workbook

Meals: Students have a one-hour lunch break (12:00-1:00). Students are welcome to drive to the 101st & Elm area where several fast-food establishments are located – Sonic, Taco Bueno, Taco Bell, McDonalds, Charlie’s Chicken, Arby's, Domino’s Pizza, Subway, Jimmy’s New York Pizza, Old World Pizza, Bill & Ruth’s Sub Shop, Handmade (Deli-type establishment). They can bring their own lunch if they prefer. We have vending machines with beverages available (coke, water, energy drinks) as well as a snack machine for chips, candy, etc. Most vending machines accept Debit & Credit Touch-Pay cards & coins.

Everyone benefits from additional points on the exam. Depending on your starting point, more points help you to get into your dream college, expand program choices, and increase scholarship potential. Many students decide their scores are good enough without realizing their score potential. Do not limit your college choices or scholarship potential!
The ACT Prep Camp will help students identify their strengths and weaknesses and will better prepare them for what to expect on test day. Students will be given workbooks with testing techniques and study skills specific to the ACT exam, covering all four subject areas. Sample practice tests will be administered at the end of the day.
Even if the ACT is optional for admission to your college, you will still be required to take it when you get there to see if you qualify for placement in full credit classes. This test is still important!

Refund Policy
A minimum of six students must be enrolled at each campus before the camp will make.
If you are enrolled at a site that does not make, we will contact you regarding changing locations or to process your refund if the other sites do not work out for you.
Requested Refunds: 100% refund will be given if the request is made before the first scheduled class meeting. No refunds will be given after the class and cannot be issued for nonattendance. All fees will be refunded if the class is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment. Refunds will be issued within 5 to 10 business days. Notice must be given by Friday prior to the class date.
