Geography & Political Science

The Geography and Political Science (GPS) programs at Northeastern State University host an engaged community of students, scholars, and educators. Programs broaden students’ perspectives in a diverse and ever-changing world, as wells as, equip students with the knowledge, skills, and experiences that enable them to succeed on their chosen career path.

GPS offers undergraduate degrees in Geography & Sustainability Studies and Political Science with minors in Geography, Global Studies, and Political Science along with a GIS Certificate. Additionally, the Geography program offers a Master’s of Science in Applied GIS and a graduate Applied GIS Certificate.
