Northeastern State University offers a Bachelor of General Studies (BGS) degree for adult students (over 21 years of age) who have already completed at least 50 hours of college credit with a minimum 2.00 cumulative grade point average. The BGS degree is a first bachelor’s degree only and you cannot earn a second degree or complete a double major in General Studies. There are many areas of specialization available. One of the 18-hour core areas can be tailored to the individual needs of the student with approval of the program coordinator.
