NSU Wind Ensemble

Wind Ensemble

band_musicThe Wind Ensemble is the premiere concert band in the NSU Band Program. The Wind Ensemble performs standard concert band repertoire as well as new literature by some of the very best composers working today. In the last few years, the Wind Ensemble has premiered works by Daniel Bukvich as well as Oklahoma composers Tammie Willis and Daniel Thompson. Membership in the Wind Ensemble is open by audition to any NSU student regardless of major. Auditions for the fall semester take place on the first day of classes, and auditions for the spring semester take place in November. Rehearsals are Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30-5:30 in Fine Arts 128.
