Opera Workshop

The Opera Workshop is a forum for the development of performance skills for the emerging singer-actor.  A scenes program is offered in the fall semester and a full production is offered in the spring.  The Opera Workshop Ensemble is an auditioned ensemble that rehearses Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:00-4:30 p.m. in Fine Arts 301.  The ensemble repertoire includes musical theater, opera, and operetta.  Past productions have included Menotti's The Old Maid and the Thief, Donizetti's The Elixir of Love, A review of Chicago, the musical, and Sondheim's A Little Night Music. If you are interested in auditioning for this ensemble, please contact the Director of Opera Workshop, Dr. Justin Kroll.
