Opera Workshop
The Opera Workshop is a forum for the development of performance skills for the emerging singer-actor. The ensemble repertoire includes musical theater, opera, and operetta. Past productions have included Menotti's The Old Maid and the Thief, Donizetti's The Elixir of Love, a revue of Chicago, and Sondheim's A Little Night Music.
The Opera Workshop Ensemble is an auditioned ensemble that rehearses Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:00-4:30 p.m. in Fine Arts 301. A scenes program is offered in the fall semester with the Opera Gala and a full production is offered in the spring.
