University-Community Chorus

University/Community Chorus

The University/Community Chorus is the large choral ensemble on campus.  The Chorus is made up of NSU students, faculty, staff, and community members from the surrounding area.  This ensemble is open to anyone interested in singing, without an audition. The UCC performs substantial repertoire of varied styles, genres, and historical periods sometimes with instrumental ensemble or orchestra.  This chorus provides a wonderful opportunity to sing with others and connect socially through music-making in a very fun atmosphere.  The UCC rehearses weekly on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-9:00 p.m. in Fine Arts 301 (choir room), beginning with the first Tuesday of classes each fall and spring semester.  Those interested in singing in the University/Community Chorus should contact the Director of Choral Activities, Dr. Jeffery Wall.
