Biology - Bachelor of Science Education in Science Education
The Biology emphasis prepares majors to teach middle school science (grades 7-8) and high school Biology, Physical Science, and Earth Science courses. Certification requires Teacher Candidates to pass certification tests designed to assess science content knowledge and content-related pedagogy. TEACH Grant funds are available for qualified students.

Programs at Northeastern State University that prepare students for licensure in mathematics or science are designed to meet the licensure standards set by the Oklahoma State Department of Education.
