Fish and Wildlife - Bachelor of Science in Integrative Biology
As the expanding human population encroaches further into the domains of fisheries and wildlife, fewer habitats are available. With concern about conservation issues increasing, the demand for trained fisheries and wildlife professionals is growing also. Students with a desire to protect, conserve, and learn more about fisheries and wildlife resources can find their niche in this program.
The Biology Fisheries and Wildlife Emphasis is a double major focusing on the theory and hands-on application of fisheries and wildlife management. Students are encouraged to work with local agencies through internships and summer employment. Careful selection of courses can result in students completing all course work required for certification by the Wildlife Society and American Fisheries Society.
