Organismic - Bachelor of Science in Integrative Biology

Biology is a broad subject, covering everything from interactions between different species in the environment to interactions between molecules within cells. The Integrative Biology - Organismic option degree program covers that breadth, integrating concepts in biological diversity, ecological interactions, developmental and evolutionary mechanisms, anatomical and physiological adaptations, and cellular and biochemical processes.

Biology graduates have a similarly broad set of careers open to them, many of which are predicted to show strong growth in demand for graduates. The Integrative Biology - Organismic option degree program provides you with the broad integrative training that you need to pursue careers in such diverse areas as the health care professions, conservation, remediation, resource management, and sustainability. The program includes options and electives that allow it to be optimized for a variety of career paths including medicine, dentistry, optometry, veterinary medicine, allied health fields, agriculture, horticulture, environmental management, environmental education, habitat protection, or laboratory and field-oriented research.
