Why Choose Us

Life brings challenges we don't always expect — and having somewhere to talk them through can make all the difference.

The NSU Community Counseling Clinic offers a supportive, confidential space for individuals facing depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, trauma, substance use, and other life difficulties.

We believe cost should never stand between someone and the care they need. Session fees are adjusted on a sliding scale based on income, and every client is served with the same care and confidentiality.

 

Who Provides Care

Counseling sessions are provided by graduate-level students in NSU's CACREP-accredited counseling degree program, working under the direct supervision of licensed faculty.

This means clients receive attentive, up-to-date, evidence-based care, while our counselors-in-training gain the hands-on experience required for licensure.

We currently see clients ages 13 and up.

 

Fees

We use a sliding-scale fee structure based on income, so cost isn't a barrier to getting support.

Getting started is simple:

  1. Fill out our brief interest form. Share your contact information and preferences, so we know how and when to reach you.
  2. We'll call or email you to schedule a short phone consultation.
  3. During that call, we'll answer your questions and find a time that works for your first session.
