Sequoyah Institute

Sequoyah Institute 2024-2025 Performing Arts Series

38th Season of the Performing Arts Series begins October 23rd!

We are excited to begin our 38th Annual Sequoyah Institute Performing Arts Series season with a collaborative production with our partners NSU Drama. You may remember the wonderful production of Arsenic and Old Lace that was produced with NSU Drama in April 2023--this upcoming collaborative production is a similar venture. The show this season is a comedy by Christopher Durang titled Vanya & Sonia & Masha & Spike. The production is directed by NSU professor of drama Scott Pursley and features performances by NSU Drama alumni Michael Gaffney, Robin Robinson, and our very own executive director of the Sequoyah Institute, Robyn Pursley! The show will also feature three current NSU Drama students. The show is the second collaboration focused on presenting professional level productions with alumni actors who have been in the workforce using the skills they developed as students at NSU. The show is recommended for adult audiences due to language and content. The show will be performed on October 23, 24, & 25th at 7:30pm and as a special 4:00pm matinee on Saturday, October 26th. The performances will be a part of this year's NSU Homecoming celebration. All ticket proceeds will go directly to scholarships for NSU Drama students.

Ticket sales are live on our ticketing site. Click the BUY TICKETS button at the bottom of our page to see details about the rest of our season and to purchase your tickets!

As always, we deeply appreciate your continued support of the performing arts. We can’t wait to see you at the Playhouse!

Please reach out to us with any questions.
