The Pre-Professional Health Club (PPHC) is an academic organization open to any student interested in health careers. The club sponsors the Health Career Fair, participates in student organizational events and is represented in the student senate. PPHC members invite speakers employed in various health careers or recruiters from professional schools to visit with club members. The club attends medical school open houses and encourages you to become active in the multitude of volunteer opportunities in the community.
Officers for the club are elected at the May meeting and are listed on the bulletin board outside the pre-health advising office located in Science Building room 171.
Meetings are alternate Mondays at 5:30 p.m. in Science Building room 147. Please check the pre-health event calendar for the most update information on speakers and activities of the PPHC.
Dues are $10 per year and are used to pay for health career fairs and club social events. T-shirts are $12 available in the prehealth advising office, Science Building room 171.
Please contact Dr. Marvita McGuire or Dr. Craig Clifford for further information.
