Whether you’re an incoming or current transfer student, NSU’s transfer advisors are available to assist you with transcript evaluation, information on degree programs and support services. NSU is where You Belong.

Graduate College

Whether transitioning to graduate school or returning to higher education, NSU’s graduate college is your next step. Choose from over 25 master's degrees and several certificate programs.

optom studentFor chiropractic, dental, medical, optometry, pharmacy, veterinary

Junior year, spring semester

  • Prepare for admissions exam (DAT, GRE, MCAT, OAT, PCAT)
  • Solicit recommendation letters from science faculty
  • Interview with the premedical advisory committee (dental, medical, and optometry only)

Summer before senior year

  • Take admissions exam
  • Apply to health professions program

Senior year, fall semester

  • Interview with admissions committee beginning in October
  • Deadline for applying to program (varies from October to December)

Senior year, spring semester

  • Find out if you were accepted into your professional program
  • Summer after graduation from College
  • Begin your professional program

Sophomore year, fall semester

  • Solicit recommendation letters from science faculty
  • Apply to health professions program (Most deadlines occur between January 15 March 1st)

Sophomore year, spring semester

  • Find out if you were accepted into your health professions program
  • Summer after sophomore year begin your professional program after acceptance
