Come to Northeastern State University (NSU) in Tahlequah to act as scientists and engineers to build and test robots! This is a FREE Summer Academy for students who will be entering 9th, 10th or 11th grades in the Fall 2024 semester. Participants will learn about the exciting field of robotics as they engage in team activities that incorporate mechanical, electronics, computing, and mechatronics, all in alignment with curriculum in mechanical engineering and physics programs in college.
In the Academy, students will design, build, and test robotic vehicles to collect, pick up, move, and organize objects (Learn By Doing), and tour the FlightSafety Simulation in Broken Arrow to further make community connections with higher education experience and industry. Round-trip transportation will be provided to the FlightSafety Simulation by the Academy. For more information, please contact Dr. Weihuan Zhao at 918-444-2961 or email zhaow@nsuok.edu.
To apply for the Summer Academy, please submit the completed application form to Dr. Weihuan Zhao at zhaow@nsuok.edu.
