NSU is committed to assisting students in applying and earning scholarships. Whether you are an incoming freshman or a continuing/returning student, NSU has a wide variety of scholarship options for students to choose from.

Clubs and Organizations

From networking to leadership opportunities, NSU’s over 80 clubs and organizations allow our students to build lasting relationships while getting the full college experience.

Transfer Students

Whether you’re an incoming or current transfer student, NSU’s transfer advisors are available to assist you with transcript evaluation, information on degree programs and support services. NSU is where You Belong.

Graduate College

Whether transitioning to graduate school or returning to higher education, NSU’s graduate college is your next step. Choose from over 25 master's degrees and several certificate programs.

Tutoring Opportunities

Would you like to become a tutor?

If you are a skilled writer (English major preferred), have at least five free hours a week and additional time for training, and love working with people, you could be a tutor.

Tutoring has great benefits. As a tutor, you can improve your r sum or CV and gain skills helping others.

There are also many different options for how you can become a tutor! Tutoring can serve as your Capstone experience if you are an English major, volunteer work, a paid student worker position, or your graduate assistantship (if you are enrolled in the MA in English program).

You could use your talents to create something lasting and to benefit another student's education!

1) Indicate your available hours on the attached schedule: WC Schedule

2) Fill out a Tutor Training application and include a writing sample (such as a paper for a class) Tutor Training Application
