Welcome to NSU's Special Education program!

The Special Education program at NSU is housed in the College of Education's Curriculum & Instruction department, and is comprised of several degree and certification options that prepare students for a variety of rewarding careers.

The mission of our program is to prepare individuals to live harmoniously and productively in a culturally diverse world. Our goal is to train highly qualified educators and professionals through motivation, curriculum planning, teaching strategies, and learning theory.
